Kandy is central to the history of Sri Lanka and is home to many of the island’s cultural gems. The Temple of the Tooth, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a beautiful Buddhist Temple in Kandy with stubborn mist clinging to the hills surrounding the city’s beautiful centrepiece lake.
We stayed for four nights in Madampe House, family of 4 including teenagers, and had a wonderfull time. Jayantha and his team made us feel very comfortable by arranging all kind of things like day trips, diners!, taxi, beers and nothing was asked to many. The atmosphere in the house is very relaxed with the great pool, beautiful view and garden, nice dining room and luxury bed- and (open) bathrooms.
My family of 4 have just returned from a fantastic stay at Madampe house. The house and gardens are fantastic but what really makes this place special is Jayantha and his team. Nothing is too much trouble and it was a pleasure to experience some of Sri Lanka with him. He also cooked us the best meals we have ever eaten! We hope to visit again.
We had our wedding on 17th May 2018 @ paradise. It was remarkable, very personalized services on wedding day and throughout the stay. Really nice staff, very helpful *specially Rohana. Highly recommended the place.
We stayed there 2 nights while visiting Sigerya, elephnt safari and Dambula. Very quiet place, with beautiful and peacefull garden- monkeys, tree-house and swimming-pool. the room was very good. we enjoyed breakfast and dinner.
Me and my girlfriend spend in this place 3 nights, the staff was very friendly I remember Mr. Jayantha and the Manager Mr. Ajith but big thanks to all of the others from the resort. The room was always clean. For the breakfast toast bread with butter and jam, coffee, tee, excellent pancake, fruit, we get also Srilankan specialties. really enjoyed. There is also small tree house, very nice to have a drink in the evening.
